Rabbi Baeck Named Head of Council to Protect Interests of German Jews

Rabbi Leo Baeck,former Chief Rabbi of Berlin, has been elected president of the Council For the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Jews of Germany, which was established at the beginning of this year by Jewish refugee organizations in America, Britain and Palestine. The council held its first meeting today with representatives from the three countries in attendance.
