Leader of Jewish Settiement in Palestine Wounded by Arabs; Assailants Escape

The head of the Jewish settlement of Ramath Eakovesh was seriously wounded today outside the colony’s orange groves when he was ambushed by Arabs.

His assailants succeeded in escaping after having stabbed their victim several times and robbing him. The donkey on which he was riding was killed.
