A training ship on the river Thames on which Jewish boys, orphaned by the Nazis, can learn seafaring, is planned by the Jewish Marine League, whose activities were resumed here this week.

Captain J. Helpern, who founded the League eleven years ago, said arrangements had been made to help Jewish sailors to obtain their masters and engineers certificates through London Country Council nautical schools.
