Conference of Displaced Jews in U.S. Zone Will Open on Sunday in Munich

The conference of displaced Jews in the American zone of Germany, which was scheduled to open here yesterday, has been postponed until next Sunday, owing to technical difficulties.

The opening session, which will be held in the Munich Town Hall, will be addressed by Dr. Zalman Gruenberg, president of the Central Committee of Displaced Jews; David Ben-Gurion and U.S. Chaplain Abraham Klausner. Welcoming addresses will be given by Bavarian Premier Wilhelm Hoegner and Cardinal Faulhaber.

Attending the conference will be representatives of the United States Army, UNRRA, the Joint Distribution Committee, HIAS, the Jewish Agency and the Jewish Brigade. During a memorial ceremony for Jewish victims of fascism the Jewish orchestra of St. Ottilien Camp will give a concert.
