A Southeastern Regional Council of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations was established here today at the conclusion of a three-day meeting of delegates from Georgia, Florida and Alabama, who represented 35 congregations. A conference of the Tri-State Federation of Temple Sisterboods was held simultaneously. The role of Liberal Judaism today was outlined in an address Sunday night by Rabbi Maurice N. Eisendrath, executive director of the UAHC.
