Australia Grants 200 Visas to Refugees; May Take Two Years to Bring the Immigrants

Entry permits for 200 European refugees, mostly Jews, have been granted by Australian Minister of Immigration Arthur Caldwell, Jewish leaders here announced today.

The shortage of shipping space, however, may hold up immigration for as long two years. All the immigrants have relatives in Australia.
