Posters demanding “Jews, Get Out” and “Jews, Go to Palestine,” appeared this week in the Kesmarok district of Slovakia, it was learned today.
Police, who removed the posters, were told that several weeks ago Germans living on the district attempted to incite reactionary Slovaks to attack Jews. Their plot was dwarted by Czech soldier who notified the local Jewish community council. Most of the Kesmarok Jews wish to emigrate, because of the anti-Semitic agitation in the area.
