George Warren, State Dept. Advisor, Named U.S. Representative on Uno Refugee Committee

George L. Warren has been appointed by President Truman as United States representative on the Committee on Refugees and Displaced Persons of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, White House press secretary Charles G. Ross announced today.

The committee will meet April 8 in London to investigate problems of refugees and displaced persons and to prepare a report for presentation to the Economic and Social Council, which opens its second session in New York on May 25.

Mr. Warren has been advisor on refugees and displaced persons in the State Department.
