The Berlin City Council has issued an order providing that victims of Nazi persecution be compensated for any unjustified taxation exacted from them under the Nazi regime, the British new service in Germany reported today.
The order, of which Jews would be among the main beneficiaries, also provides that all such payments be taken into account before present earnings and profits are taxed.
