American Palestine Corporation Launches $2,200,000 Issue of New Shares at N.Y. Meeting

A new issue of 400,000 shares, with par value of $2,200,000, was launched here today by the American Palestine Trading Corporation at its annual meeting held under the chairmanship of Edmond I. Kaufmann, Approximately $75,000 worth were sold at the meeting.

Reporting on the progress of the corporation, Abraham Dickenstein, manager, said that the corporation has loaned $500,000 for the development of Palestine projects has facilitated shipments to Palestine valued at $1,000,000 for Palestinian purchasers and has imported from Palestine to this country goods worth $600,000. The meeting was addressed by Robert R. Eathau, Aryah Shanker, president of the Manufacturers’ Association of Palestine, and others.
