Fear lest an epidemic of suicides break out among displaced Jews in Germany over the delay in their transfer to Palestine was expressed today in Jewish circles here following the suicide of M.Hornstein, formerly of Vilna, Poland, who took his life at the DP camp at Ferenwald.

Hornstein was a cousin of a rabbi in Tel Aviv. He recently told friends that he could no longer endure remaining in Germany and would commit suicide if compelled to remain any longer.
