All Jewish civilian clerks employed by military headquarters in Jerusalem have been discharged, it was announced today. It was estimated that the order will effect several hundred persons, many of whom are veterans of the British forces.

The death toll in the King David Hotel explosion today reached 91, with the death of Assistant Chief Secretary Thompson. Thirteen persons are still listed as missing.
