The first International Conference of Christians and Jews here, which is nearing the final stages, is expected to issue a declaration emphasizing the importance of a practical program to combat anti-Semitism and other forms of racial hatred.

Dr. Everett M, Clinchy, president of the National Conference of Christians and Jews in America, today suggested world-wide observance of Brotherhood Week as it is observed in the United States, He pointed out that King George VI might be asked to issue a proclamation calling upon the citizens of the British Empire to observe Brotherhood Week similar to that issued by the President of the United States.

Dr. Henry N. McCracken, president of Vassar College and head of the American delegation to the conference, recommended that churches and synagogues throughout the world establish lecture and educational centers for young men and women as a method of combatting anti-Semitism.
