The representative of the Joint Distribution Committee here was presented today with a request for a shipload of wheat, corn and 200 tons of vegetable oil urgently required for the relief of 150,000 Jews in Moldavia, Southern Bukovina and Northern Transylvania, which have been especially affected by the Summers continued drought.
