Dr. Wolfang von Weisl, noted journalist and physician, today entered the sixteenth day of his hunger strike, establishing a record of the longest protest fast in the history of Palestine.
Von Weisl, who announced his intention of fasting for 28 days in protest against British policy in Palestine, is reported to be in a weakened state, but still refuses to accept food or medical treatment.
