Representatives of the JDC and the office of Rabbi Philip Bernstein, Jewish adviser to General Joseph T. McNarney, have appealed to the Czech Government to allow 10,000 Polish Jews to remain in Czechoslovakia several months until the American zone in Germany is ready to accept them. The government will discuss the problem in the next few days, and a favorable decision is expected.
