If Britain is not ready to admit 100,000 Jews to Palestine as requested by President Truman, it should, at least, allow the immediate entry of all Jewish children under 14 who wish to go there, Meir Schenkelowski, chief of the political and rescue department of the Agudas Israel World Organization, today told a press conference here.
Mr. Schenkelowski, who has just returned from a tour of Eastern Europe, revealed that en route home he met in Paris with members of the American delegation to the Peace Conference and urged the admission into the U.S. – on temporary and permanent visas of 150,000 displaced Jews.
