A frontal attack against discrimination on the basis of race, color or religion was pledged today by American labor in messages to the 51st annual encampment of the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S. from William Green, president of the American Federation of Labor, and Philip Murray, president of the Congress of Industrial Organizations.

Read to the 1,200 delegates by National Commander Maxwell Cohen, of Boston, the messages pledged the heads of America’s two major labor organizations to combat anti-Semitism and other un-American and subversive activities.
