Hebrew schools in Canada are facing a shortage of teachers which is hampering the opening of additional Jewish schools in the Dominion, it was reported at the annual conference of the Canadian Association of Hebrew Schools.

Two seminaries have recently been organized in Montreal to train teachers and help to meet the shortage in the Hebrew as well as the Yiddish schools.
