The Palestine Government announced today that the British Government has agreed to allow Palestinian merchants to purchase $1,400,000 worth of motor vahicles in the United States in the first quarter of 1947. Palestine dealers are usually compelled to make their purchases in Britain, but British manufacturers have stated that they will not be able to fill the orders for passenger cars and trucks.
