A four-man delegation representing the American Jewish Labor Council, part of a nine-man team recently returned from a study of conditions in Poland, told a press conference here this afternoon that they found “not one Jew in Poland who did not want the present government put back into power.”
Among the steps taken by the Polish Government to stamp out anti-Semition and racism, the delegation reported, are legislation providing for the prosecution of those committing anti-Semitic acts, an educational program including discussions in universities on the fallacy of the supertor race theory and plays showing Jewish contributions to European civilization.
