A group of Arabs charged with raiding a British army camp in northern Palestine and stealing two trucks loaded with medical supplies today went on trial before a military court in Haifa. During an exchange of fire between the armed raiders and troops, one Arab was killed and a soldier wounded.

Sir Henry L. Gurney, Chief Secretary of the Palestine Government, today announced that terrorist raids cost the government $2,400,000.

The Postmaster General of Palestine has announced cancellation of special press rates for intercity telephone messages. The Hebrew press is at a loss to explain the move because a recent government report showed a heavy surplus in the postal department.
