Reports from Rome say that anti-Jewish leaflets charging Jewish DP’s with crowding demobilized Italian soldiers out of available houses were distributed during the recent demonstrations against the terms of the Italian peace treaty.
The reports disclose that Italian fascists had sent threatening letters to landlords who rent their premises to Jews. In Padua, three Italian co-eds had their heads shaved for “fraternizing” with Jewish students.
