The Louis D. Brandeis Medal of the Jewish Forum was presented tonight to Maurice Schvartz, noted actor and director, at a special ceremony at the Yiddish Art Theatre. The award, which was made by a non-sectarian citizens committee, was given Mr. Schwartz for “his illustrious contribution to Jewish dramatic art.”
