The HIAS will open offices in all DP camps for Jews in Italy, according to a cable from Lewis Neikrug, European director for HIAS which was made public by the organization’s offices here today. The cable said that the decision was made at the suggestion of UNRRA officials in Italy.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
