Adrien Arcand, leader of the anti-Semitic movement in Canada who was interned as a fascist for five years during the war, and who is now resuming his anti-Jewish activities, today came out with a statement in the press urging that all Jews from Palestine and from other countries be deported to the island of Madagascar.

“The climate in Madagascar is suitable for colonization,” he argues. “The island is 1,300 miles long and it can comfortably contain 100 million people. There are some four million Negrees there now, they could be sent to Africa, to Liberia, for instance. Then the Jews from America, from Britain, from every country in the world, could be isolated there, without contact with the white race, and spend the rest of their lives carrying out their nefarious plotting among themselves.

Aroand asserts that his party is now legally recognized and that its membership has grown “tenfold” since his release from internment.
