Toronto Amends Licensing Law to Pronibit Discrimination in Places of Entertatnment

The Toronto Board of Police Commissioners has amended the local licensing law to forbid discrimination in public halls and places of entertainment on religious, racial or color grounds, it was announced by the Canadian Jewish Congress. Licenses already issued may be revoked if it is proved that discrimination is practiced by the licensee.
