American Jewish Committee Cables Marshall Hailing Stand on Bill of Righth for Australia

The American demand for the incorporation of a five point bill of rights in the Austrian treaty, which was made public in Moscow yesterday with release of the draft of the U.S. proposals, was hailed today by Judge Joseph H. Pressesuer, president of the American Jewish Committee, in a cable to Secretary of States ## C. Marshall. The text of the cable follows.

“In behalf of the American Jewish Committee, I wish to command and congratulation and American delegation on the forthright declaration of civil rights in the American draft for a treaty with Australian. Four afforts to assure basic freedoms, before the liberties of all peoples, religious and races in that country powerfully ## the forces of democracy in Europe and will, encourage pro-democratic forces ###. Only by safeguarding civil and religious rights throughout the would can ## the way to just and lasting peace. I am confident you will take every ### so similar bill of rights in German trendy. Four understand ### the support of all ### American.
