With the organization of a new chapter of the American Jewish Committee in Omaha, thirty-two community chapters, located in principal cities from coast to coast, are now enrolled in the Committee, Jacob Blausteds, chairman of the executive committee, announced today.
The chapter program, Mr. Blaustein said, “affords an opportunity to lenders and ? of public opinion throughout the country to participate directly in the activities of the Committee. The chapters are angaged, together with the ? organization, in practical programs dealing with immigration, civil and ? nights of Jews ov##, Jewish cultural life at home and prejudice on the local level.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
