The British Consulates here and in Munich have been placed under a 24-hour guard following receipt of warnings by the Irgun Zvai Leumi that British officials will be assassinated unless certain of its demands are met.

The warning was handed to the Central Committee of Liberated Jews which turned it over to the British. The Irgunists asked for the right to hold anti-British demonstrations outside Jewish DP camps and demanded that an anti-British protest be forwarded to Washington.
