A message greeting the Jews of the world on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah was issued here today from Generalissimo Chiang Kai Shek.
In response to a request from the Shanghai Echo, local English-Jewish daily, the President sent the following statement: “I am very glad to avail myself of the opportunity offered by your newspaper to extend my cordial greetings to all people of the Jewish faith upon the coming of Rosh Hashanah. May this festival usher in for them a happy and prosperous new year.”
