Deep concern prevails in the Jewish Community Council here and in the community in general as a result of a charge by Egyptian nationalists that Salvator Cicurel, president of the Council, is head of a “secret propaganda” circle in Egypt. The charge, published in a Wafdist newspaper, alleges that Cicurel and his brother Clement, well known business men in Cairo, are behind “largescale Zionist and anti-Arab activities.”
