United States Ambassador George Messersmith lauded the work of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency as “objective and enlightening” at a reception tendered him last night by leaders of the Jewish community here.

The American Ambassador touched upon the present situation in Palestine and deplored the fact that thousands of Jews are still homeless in Europe and must live in camps in Germany, Austria and Italy.
