The body of a displaced Jew residing at the Adriatico lamp in Milan has been found near the camp.
It is believed that he was a victim of a band of DP’s which has been terrorizing the area, stealing visa affidavits and other valuables from DP’s under threats of killing them if they do not submit. Jewish authorities have demanded that the Italian Government and UNPRA take action against the 30 members of the gang, who are alleged to be displaced Rumanian Jews.
