Australian Health Commission Charges Ritual Slaughtering is “cruel Method”

The Health Commission in the state of Victoria this week issued a statement attacking Jewish ritual slaughtering of animals as “a cruel method of slaying.”

Replying, Rabbi Jacob Danglow, spiritual leader of Victorian Jewry and former chief chaplain of the Australian armed forces, declared that scientific authorities have proven that ritual slaughtering is a humane method.
