Representatives of all Bulgarian political parties, including Deputy Speakers of Parliament Gen. B.K. Draghieff and Dr. M.S. Kostukoff, extended greetings to the Bulgarian Zionist Organization at a meeting here to mark the annual “shekel” day.
Gen. Draghieff said that the government recognized the natural Jewish desire for independence and a homeland of their own. Dr. Kostukoff, who recently visited Palestine, expressed admiration for the social, economic and cultural progress of the Jewish community.
