The State Department today refused to comment on a report published in the newspaper PM that King Ibn Saud has strongly hinted to the United States that he would not oppose a “moderate” solution of the Palestine issue.
PM asserts that reliable sources insist that the State Department is aware that Ibn Saud is not as violently opposed to a resonable solution of the Palestine problem as he is represented to be. The Saudi Arabian legation laballed the story “absolutely false.”
