The DAIA, central Argentine Jewish body, will (##)ensify its activities in the field of public relations and seek to enlighten public opinion concerning Jewish contributions to the development of Argentine, Dr. (##)ses Goldman, DAIA president, told a general assembly of the organization.
Reporting on the DAIA’s activities in the past 12 months, Dr. Goldman recalled (##) intervention with the authorities to secure visas for stranded Jewish immigrants (##)m Europe and to check anti-Semitic excesses. He stressed that the Jewish communi(##) took no stand on domestic political affairs.
Dr. Goldman reaffirmed the DAIA’s solidarity with the Zionist Organization and (##) World Jewish Congress and hailed the recent unification of relief campaigns here.
