Human Says He Cannot Act to Admit Dp’s in Absence of Congressional Legislation

President Truman said today that in the absence a Congressional legislation to admit displaced persons, there was no action he could lake.

Asked at his press conference about the possibility of any Presidential action, he said that if there were any, he would have taken it long ago.
