The British Consulate here today declined to firm persistent reports that the three British deportation ships which brought the 500 Exodus refugees to French waters are preparing to sail with the immigrants for "unknown destination," possibly Tobruk.
One of the three ships, the Runnymede Park, arrived in Marseilles this morning from Port de Bouc to refuel. The other two ships, which have enough coal to reach ?ita or Gibraltar, remained in Port de Bouc, but it is possible that they will also ## here to take on coal. The loading of food on board the ship was also reported.
French authorities ordered the Runnymede Park to remain several hundred yards on the shore, with lighters bringing out the coal, so that the British could not force the Jewish refugees ashore. Thirteen refugees left the ships yesterday, making unofficial total of 104, although British authorities claim that the figure is ## larger.
