An appeal by the Jewish War Veterans of the United States asking that the U.S. representative at the United Nations place the Palestine dispute on the agenda of the Security Council and that the U.N. take over responsibility for the country and order out all British troops and police and replace them with a U.N. security force will appear in the New York press tomorrow as an advertisement, it was revealed today at a J.W.V. press conference.

Asserting that it recognized the practical administrative and manpower obstacles which the U.N. would face in placing and maintaining an adequate police force in Palestine, the J.W.V. urged that such a force be recruited from among trained veterans of all faiths and all nations. The organization offered its total resources to aid in the effort to recruit such a force, which would be under the direction and jurisdiction of the U.N.
