A group of Chicago businessmen, headed by John Balaban, who are touring Europe and Palestine on a survey for the United Jewish Appeal, arrived here today from Palestine.
They immediately visited a DP camp at Cinecitta, suburb of Rome, and a Joint Distrubtion Committee convalescent home. At a press conference later in the day they said that Jewish achievements in Palestine were quite “impressive” and that Jewish hospitals there provided better service than some American institutions.
