A conference of 40 representatives of HIAS from various countries of Europe opened here today.
The parley will hear reports by various organization officials placed in key countries on the Continent. They will also work out changes in the organization’s immigration procedure in line with the reports. Robert Levi, chief of the French section of the immigration society, opened the conference with a welcoming address.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
