The “Temschearer Zeitung” of Timisoara reported today that anti-Semitic employers in Banate are taking advantage of the Government’s new re-distribution of labor bill and, under protection of the law, are discharging their Jewish employees.
According to the newspaper, the employers discriminated against Jews in drawing up lists of surplus employees to be discharged. It demanded that the Government institute an immediate investigation.
