Two Arabs were killed, an Arab woman was seriously injured and a child hurt when a bomb exploded last night near the spot where two Jews were killed Saturday night, presurably by Arabs. The bomb was reported, without confirmation, to have been planted by a group of unknown Jews who also fired on an Arab house in the vicinity.

However, the Haganah, Irgun Zvai Leumi and Stern Group this afternoon issued statements disassociating themselves from the bombing. The udnerground groups suggested that either the incident was a provocation aimed at creating dissension and strife between Jews and Arabs, or else it resulted from inter-Arab fends.

Troops today raided two Jewish settleemts, hunting for arms and terrorists. While searching the Balfour Forest, in the neighborhood of Afuleh, one revolver and a number of empty ammunition boxes were found, an official communique said. Other troops equipped with mine detectors surrounded Genigar, on the Ephraim Hills, and sereemed all the settlers. Both searches are continuing.
