Mayer William O’Dwyer today presented a fire engine to to the city of Tel Aviv as a gift from New York City. The gift, which was made in connection with the celebration of Fire Prevention Week, was accepted by Edward A Norman, president of the American Fund for Palestinian Institutions, on behalf of Tel Aviv Mayor Israel Rokach.
