Have Survived Because of Ideals of Unity, Business Executive Tells J. W. B. Meeting

The Jews have survived as a race because “through## the ages they have been dedicated to principles and ideals which have unified and ## direction to their lives, “Dr. Louis I. Dublin, vice-president of the Metropoli## Life Insurance Company, yesterday told an annual meeting of the metropolitan section of the Jewish Welfare Board.

Frank Weil, national president of the J. W. B., who also addressed the group, ##serted that the Jewish community center is the laboratory in which are applied the ##iritual principles of religion. “Tolerance and understanding, practiced by the ##wish center, make a great contribution to the safeguards of democracy in the land,” declared.The meeting was attended by more than 200 persons representing 87 Jewish cen##s in New York City and several surrounding counties. Former Supreme Court Justice ##orge Frankenthaler was re-elected president for a third term.
