The Agudath Israel Youth Council will launch this week a $1,000,000 fund-raising campaign for its Refugee-Immigration Division to supply the religious needs of surviving Jews in Europe and to help them emigrate, the organization announced today.
Lester Udell, New York philanthropist, and Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein, honorary president of the Synagogue Council of Amrica, will serve as co-chairmen of the campaign. Since V-E Day, the organization said, more than 2,000,000 pounds ## kosher foodstuffs have been shipped abroad and 8,000 persons were aided by the Youth Council to emigrate to the Western Hemisphere.
