Seventy Jewish immigrants left for Palestine ?ring the week-end. They sailed from the Black Sea port of Constanza aboard the liner Ansyivania.

The Ministry of Agriculture has granted a Jewish agricultural school, near ##, the right to issue diplomas for high school and college-level engineering cour##. The diplomas will rank equally with those granted at state-maintained schools. ## institution was founded privately by Jewish organizations three years ago. It was tended as a training center for young Jews preparing to emigrate to Palestine and partly supported by the Joint Distribution Committee.
