The Central Committee of Jows in Poland today sent an appeal to Jewish organizations in the United States to intervene with the State Department to issue American visas to Adolph Berman and Jacob Egit, leaders of the Contral Committee, who were refused visas by the American consulate in Warsaw. Berman and Egit were appointed by the committee to visit the United States in order to acquaint American Jewry with the needs of the Jews in Poland.
The 50th anniverssary of the Jewish Socialist Party is being observed in Jewish communities in the larger cities of Poland, A jubilee convention will open Nov. 15 in Warsaw. Representatives of the government and Polish political parties will meet the convention.
